Privacy Policy
Last updated:
LeadLobster LLC (“we”, “us”) operates LeadLobster.ai. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
Information We Collect
From agents (you)
- Name, email address, phone number, and agency name at signup
- Payment information processed by Stripe (we never store card numbers)
- Territory selection and plan preferences
- Login activity and dashboard usage
Lead data
Leads contain information about homeowners obtained from licensed data sources. We do not purchase consumer marketing lists or access restricted government systems. All data is obtained through lawful means and used exclusively for licensed professional outreach.
This data is provided to you as a licensed insurance professional for lawful business outreach purposes only. We do not sell, share, or distribute raw personal data to third parties outside of our agent subscriber platform.
Homeowner data categories
Our lead intelligence may include the following categories of homeowner data: full name, property address, mailing address, phone number(s), email address, property characteristics (year built, square footage, bedrooms, bathrooms), sale price and close date, flood zone classification, estimated insurance premiums, and publicly available voter registration information. This data is assembled from publicly available government records and licensed data sources.
How We Use Your Information
- To deliver leads to your dashboard
- To process subscription payments via Stripe
- To send lead notification emails
- To improve lead quality and scoring
- To communicate service updates
Data Sharing
Agent (subscriber) account data
We do not sell agent (subscriber) account data. Your name, email, phone, agency name, payment information, and dashboard usage data are used only to operate your account and are not licensed, sold, or shared with third parties for monetary or other valuable consideration.
Homeowner intelligence data
Homeowner intelligence data — the leads you receive from us — is licensed to verified, licensed insurance professionals (our subscribers) under the contractual confidentiality and use restrictions described in our Terms of Service (§ 3, § 3c, and § 5b).
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (“CCPA”) and the California Privacy Rights Act (“CPRA”) definitions of “sale” and “share,” this licensing of homeowner data may be classified as a “sale” or “share” of personal information. We treat it as such for compliance purposes, and we subject every subscriber to contractual obligations that include confidentiality, use limitation to lawful insurance outreach to the named contact, anti-resale (no downstream redistribution), and TCPA compliance. We do not engage in cross-context behavioral advertising and we do not license homeowner data to data brokers, marketing aggregators, or any third party outside the licensed-agent subscriber channel.
Service providers
We share data with the following categories of service providers, all under written confidentiality and data-protection obligations:
- Stripe — payment processing
- Transactional email service — email delivery
- Data verification service — contact verification and phone validation
- Cloud hosting provider — infrastructure and data hosting
- AI analysis service — automated scoring and analysis
Data Retention
We retain your account data for the duration of your subscription plus 2 years. You may request deletion at any time by emailing support@leadlobster.ai.
Your Rights
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (“CCPA”) and the California Privacy Rights Act (“CPRA”), and as a matter of policy regardless of your state of residence, you have the following rights regarding personal information we hold about you:
- Right to Know — request the specific categories and pieces of personal information we have collected, the sources, the business purposes for collection, and the categories of third parties with whom we share it.
- Right to Delete — request deletion of personal information we have collected from you, subject to limited exceptions (legal obligations, fraud prevention, transactions necessary to complete services you requested).
- Right to Correct — request correction of inaccurate personal information.
- Right to Opt-Out of Sale or Sharing — direct us not to sell or share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not engage in cross-context behavioral advertising; the licensing of homeowner intelligence to subscribers is governed by the framework described in “Data Sharing” above and is the only activity that may fall within the CCPA/CPRA definitions of “sale” or “share.”
- Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Information — applicable if we collect sensitive personal information as defined by CPRA (we do not at this time).
- Right to Non-Discrimination — exercising any of the above rights will not result in denied service, lower-quality service, or different pricing.
To exercise any of these rights, email us at support@leadlobster.ai with “Privacy Request” in the subject line and the right(s) you wish to exercise. We acknowledge requests within 10 business days and respond substantively within 45 days, with a single 45-day extension available where reasonably necessary and disclosed in advance.
Identity verification. To prevent fraud, account takeover, and weaponized takedown attempts, we may ask you to verify your identity before processing certain requests. Acceptable verification typically includes confirmation of multiple data points we already hold (full legal name, current address, phone number, last four digits of payment method, recent dashboard activity). For especially sensitive requests we may require a copy of government-issued ID; copies are used only to verify identity and are destroyed promptly after verification.
Homeowner rights
If you are a homeowner and your information appears in our database, you have the right to request removal at no cost. Email us at support@leadlobster.ai with:
- your full legal name;
- the property address(es) you are requesting removal for;
- a daytime contact email or phone we can use to confirm receipt and complete identity verification.
To prevent malicious or competitive abuse — for example, a competing agent attempting to remove your real homeowners from our inventory before reaching them — we verify identity before processing removal requests. We may ask for confirmation of property purchase date or a similar non-public detail you would know about your own property. For especially close calls, we may request a copy of government-issued ID, which we destroy after verification.
Verified removal requests are completed within 30 days. Our data is derived from publicly available records, and removal from our system does not affect the underlying public records held by counties, the State of Florida, or other custodians.
Security
We use industry-standard security practices including encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, and access controls. No system is 100% secure — please use a strong, unique password.
Data breach notification
In the event of a confirmed data breach affecting personal information, we will notify affected users within 72 hours via email and update this page with relevant details.
Cookies and analytics
LeadLobster.ai uses essential cookies for authentication and session management. The marketing site uses Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights for aggregate, cookie-free pageview and performance reporting — no third-party cookies, no cross-site tracking, and no personally identifiable information leaves your browser. Vercel derives a daily rotating hash from coarse request attributes (user-agent, IP) so it can de-duplicate visitors without storing them. Speed Insights additionally collects standard browser performance metrics (Largest Contentful Paint, Interaction to Next Paint, Cumulative Layout Shift, First Contentful Paint, Time to First Byte) so we can measure how the site loads on real devices. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or sell browsing data.
